Past Performance

NDS has collaborated with several government agencies to deliver comprehensive, mission-critical IT systems that address complex issues. Below are a few examples of our past performance on key contracts.

Agencies & Branches

♦ U.S. Navy
Contract Number: GS-35F-0697N

NDS provided planning, design, implementation and maintenance in areas of IT, networks, cyber security, system support, maintenance, and desktop/server network infrastructure. This contract was for OCONUS services and all work was performed within the standards of the applicable government regulations.

NDS was contracted to upgrade the security infrastructure, upgrade the desktop operating system, implement Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure and migrate the London Service Center of OCHR to a new email system. NDS migrated OCHR from their legacy email solution, OpenMail, to Microsoft Exchange and implemented a Microsoft Windows 2000 Active Directory Domain to support the new email solution. Both of these are required to position OCHR – ESC to be compliant with both BLII and NMCI standards.

Utilizing existing internal resources, services and supplies were provided on this project in a timely manner over the course of the contract until its completion. Expertise was drawn upon from NDS staff that had been supporting the customer’s environment for the last 8 years. NDS continues to provide mission critical support with on-site maintenance capability to this high profile customer with a unique, global mission.

♦ U.S. Army
Contract Number: DABK0903A0062

NDS was requested by a unit Director of Information Management (DOIM) to provide Infrastructure Validation and Verification (IV&V) of their communications infrastructure that included both Tactical and Garrison Data traversing their network.

NDS provided a team of local field personnel to execute the verification and audit of the unit's Remote Switching Centers and manhole infrastructure. NDS audited all telecom closets against The unit's existing Telecom Management System (TMS) database. NDS documented all circuits, connections, cables, equipment, and terminals within each closet. Using fiber and copper test sets, NDS verified that all cables, both fiber and copper, were working and validated that light transmissions over fiber were within IEEE specifications. All discrepancies and inconsistencies not documented within the database were noted and updated within the TMS database.

NDS also provided a GPS Collection team, Manhole Verification team, and a Documentation team that specialized in CAD/CAM design output to document each and every manhole with a detailed “butterfly designed output depicting the manhole contents.

♦ U.S. Army
Contract Number: GS35F4653G

NDS determined that there was a strategic need for battle proven communications that performed under all environmental conditions. The G6 office provided NDS with information of their current systems and highlighted issues that included space limitations and limited growth capabilities without enlarging the overall footprint, and escalating costs. NDS worked with the unit to provide a solution for the TACLAN that solved their current issues and provided them with additional benefits.

The TACLAN solution provided by NDS delivered cost savings to the unit, allowing them to outfit their brigades with C2 capabilities to connect to both the SIPRNET and NIPRNET networks, and to include additional training and support on each system, providing increased knowledge, skills, and abilities of the Brigades to successfully operate the Tactical LAN software and hardware. The unit is currently deployed and efficiently operating the TACLAN system under real-time conditions in Iraq and Afghanistan.
